What unlimited subscribers means on Enchant

On Enchant’s free plan, the size of your list never changes what you pay. 100 subscribers or 100,000 subscribers cost the same: $0.

A subscriber limit means that growing past it requires a different plan or a different tool. On their free plans, Kit allows up to 10,000 subscribers, Mailchimp and MailerLite 250, and Brevo stores up to 100,000 contacts but sends at most 300 emails per day. Enchant has no per-subscriber pricing, so a growing list is never penalized.

Monthly price in USD, as of November 2026, of the cheapest paid plan that supports each list size: Brevo Starter, Kit Creator, Mailchimp Essentials and MailerLite Comfort. Where a free plan covers the list size, it is shown as $0. Brevo’s price depends on monthly email volume rather than list size, so its figures use the email volume shown. Kit’s prices are annual-billing rates per month. Mailchimp and MailerLite figures are list prices.

How Enchant’s free newsletter works

Unlimited subscribers come with a few ground rules. They keep the list healthy and the free plan sustainable:

  • One send every 5 days, to your entire list each time. A gap between sends protects your sender reputation.
  • Double opt-in signups only. Subscribers join through Enchant’s signup forms and confirm their address, so every subscriber on your list has opted in.
  • Send at least once every two months. Subscribers who stop engaging are pruned automatically, which keeps open rates high.
  • Your list stays yours. Export all subscribers as a CSV at any time.

Free plans, one provider at a time

A closer look at what each free plan includes, where it stops, and who it suits.

Brevo’s free plan

What’s included

  • Free with no time limit and no credit card; stores up to 100,000 contacts, for 1 user. Limits are on stored contacts and daily sends, not on active subscribers.
  • Drag-and-drop editor with 40+ templates, signup forms and advanced segmentation.
  • Multi-step automations with event triggers, for up to 2,000 contacts.
  • A live chat widget, one synced inbox and a basic sales CRM (50 open deals, 1 pipeline).
  • Email support.

Where the free plan stops

  • Sending is capped at 300 emails per day. A campaign to a larger list delivers 300 per day, and the rest must be requeued manually.
  • Every email carries a “Sent with Brevo” sticker, and reporting is basic.
  • No A/B testing, landing pages or pop-ups.

Who it suits

Brevo positions its free plan for individuals and solopreneurs building an online presence.

Brevo compared with Enchant

Brevo’s free plan stores up to 100,000 contacts and includes email templates and a custom sending domain, which Enchant’s free plan does not. Brevo imports lists from a file; with Enchant, existing subscribers re-subscribe through your hosted page, so everyone on your list has opted in. Enchant’s free plan has no subscriber limit, sends each newsletter to the whole list (one send every 5 days) and adds link-in-bio, a knowledge base and a shared inbox with up to 3 Messengers.

Kit’s free plan (formerly ConvertKit)

What’s included

  • Up to 10,000 subscribers (only unique, active subscribers count) and no sending limits, for 1 user.
  • Unlimited landing pages and forms, plus a newsletter site with a custom domain.
  • A template library, tags and segmentation, and A/B tests of 2 subject lines.
  • Commerce tools for digital products, paid newsletters and tips, with a 3.5% + 30c transaction fee.
  • Email support.

Where the free plan stops

  • Automations and sequences need the Creator plan or above.
  • Kit branding stays on emails and pages; removing it also needs Creator or above.
  • A second user, SMS, the integrations app store and 24/7 support are not on the free plan.
  • The free plan ends at 10,000 subscribers.

Who it suits

Kit positions its free plan for creators who are focused on building an audience.

Kit compared with Enchant

Kit’s free plan has no sending limits and adds commerce tools for selling digital products and paid newsletters, while Enchant allows one send every 5 days. Enchant’s free plan has no subscriber limit, and includes link-in-bio, a chat widget, a shared inbox and a knowledge base. Kit’s free plan covers up to 10,000 subscribers.

Mailchimp’s free plan

What’s included

  • Up to 250 contacts and 500 sends per month (250 per day at most), with 1 seat and 1 audience.
  • Signup forms, landing pages and pop-up forms.
  • A basic inbox, contact profiles, tags and basic reports.
  • 300+ integrations.

Where the free plan stops

  • Mailchimp branding stays on emails, and there is no scheduling, A/B testing or automation flows.
  • Templates are limited, and email support covers the first 30 days only.
  • Subscribed, unsubscribed and non-subscribed contacts all count toward the 250-contact limit.
  • Sending pauses when the contact or send limit is exceeded. Going over the free limits more than once ends eligibility for the free plan.

Who it suits

With a 250-contact limit, Mailchimp’s free plan fits a very small list that needs signup forms, landing pages and basic reporting.

Mailchimp compared with Enchant

Mailchimp’s free plan includes landing pages, pop-up forms, contact profiles and list import, and caps lists at 250 contacts. Enchant’s free plan has no subscriber limit, includes scheduling, automatic welcome and re-engagement emails, and adds link-in-bio, a chat widget, a shared inbox and a knowledge base.

MailerLite’s free plan

What’s included

  • Up to 250 active subscribers (unsubscribed and bounced contacts don’t count) and 2,500 emails per month, for 2 seats.
  • 3 automations (up to 5 steps), 3 forms, 1 website and 1 landing page, which can use a link-in-bio template.
  • All 3 editors, email A/B testing and subscriber profiles with segments and tags.
  • 1 digital product or booking.

Where the free plan stops

  • Sending is locked above 250 active subscribers until you upgrade or remove subscribers.
  • The MailerLite logo stays on emails, sites don’t support a custom domain, and sending through the API isn’t available.
  • New accounts need approval, and support is the knowledge base after a 14-day trial of chat and email.
  • In June 2026 the free limits were lowered from 500 subscribers and 12,000 emails per month to 250 and 2,500.

Who it suits

With a 250-subscriber limit, MailerLite’s free plan fits a very small list that wants automations, A/B testing and a landing page.

MailerLite’s free plan includes automations, A/B testing, templates and a custom sending domain, and caps lists at 250 active subscribers. Enchant’s free plan has no subscriber limit, sends each newsletter to the whole list (one send every 5 days) and adds link-in-bio, a chat widget, a shared inbox and a knowledge base.

Frequently asked questions

Which free newsletter plan has no subscriber limit?

Enchant’s free plan has no subscriber limit. You can send each newsletter to your entire list, whether it has 100 or 100,000 subscribers. By comparison, Kit’s free plan allows up to 10,000 subscribers, Mailchimp and MailerLite cap free plans at 250, and Brevo stores up to 100,000 contacts but sends at most 300 emails per day.

What does Enchant's free plan include?

A newsletter with unlimited subscribers, a link-in-bio page, an asynchronous chat widget, a shared inbox, up to 3 knowledge bases, Campaigns through Messenger, integrations and basic reporting, for up to 2 users. No credit card is required.

How often can I send a newsletter on Enchant's free plan?

You can send one newsletter every 5 days, and each send can go to your entire list. To keep your audience active, send at least once every two months.

Does Enchant charge more as my list grows?

No. The newsletter has no per-subscriber pricing, so a larger list does not change what you pay. The paid plan is priced per user and adds channels and features for growing teams.

Can I import my existing subscribers into Enchant?

You can move your audience over with a re-subscribe link: send your current subscribers a link to your Enchant hosted page and ask them to re-subscribe. Because every subscriber opts in through Enchant, your list starts with confirmed subscribers who want your emails.

Can a newsletter tool also handle customer support?

With Enchant it can. The same free account includes a chat widget, a shared inbox and a knowledge base, so subscribers and customers can message you from your website or link-in-bio page and you can answer from one place.

What happens when I outgrow Enchant's free plan?

Your newsletter and subscribers stay free. When you need more than 2 users or want channels such as email, phone, SMS and WhatsApp, workflow automation or full reporting, you can upgrade to the paid plan, which is priced per user. There are no annual contracts.

How many emails can I send on a free newsletter plan?

It varies by provider. Brevo’s free plan allows 300 emails per day, Mailchimp’s allows 500 per month (250 per day at most) and MailerLite’s allows 2,500 per month. Kit’s free plan states no sending limits. Enchant allows one send every 5 days, and each send can go to your entire list.

What happens when I go over a free plan's limits?

Brevo delivers 300 emails on the scheduled day and the rest must be requeued manually on later days. Mailchimp pauses sending when the contact or send limit is exceeded. MailerLite locks sending above 250 active subscribers until you upgrade or remove subscribers. Kit’s free plan covers up to 10,000 subscribers, and beyond that you need a paid plan. Enchant has no subscriber limit to go over.

Do free newsletter plans remove the provider's branding?

No. Brevo, Kit, Mailchimp and MailerLite each keep their branding on free-plan emails, and removing it needs a paid plan. Enchant’s free plan also carries Enchant branding.

What support do free newsletter plans include?

Brevo and Kit include email support. Mailchimp includes email support for the first 30 days. MailerLite offers a knowledge base, with chat and email for 14 days after signup. Enchant’s free plan includes email and chat support.
